I just have two very basic questions to ask.

1: how many wires go to the starter?
2: where does the ground from the negative battery terminal go? The block or the chassis?

I've had this car apart way too long and some of the simple stuff I'm just drawing a blank on. It's on my 99 trans am. Thanks

you should have 2 wires on the starter one from the pos battery and the little solenoid wire the neg should be on the block

Thanks, that's what I was thinking just wanted to double check since the car has been apart almost two years now
