ws7 is real A ws7 technically is real in 4th gen f-body's. Back in 98 when gm went on strike local dealers wanted ws6 TA. And since they couldnt get them one dealership took it upon themselves McNamro Pontiac in Orlando, and Made theyre OWN "WS6". Since they Couldnt use the Name WS6 because of copyright laws . They Sent a set # of TA's to SSC. And Made it A DEALER OPTION. not a GM Option. SO THE WS7 IS REAL. Stop calling it Fake. The Set # of real ws7's even have ws7 on the title.

ws9 was the gm in house cars when slp boycotted gm for more cash the ws9 do not have the package just the hood the tires and the air box, ws6 were slp built cars with ever thing and ws7 are converted cars

WS7 was a special package offered during the GM strike of 1998 or something to help sell them. Basically a WS6 with a K&N Filter.
WS9 was what Formula owners called their birds with Ws6 Hood, Wing, and wheels.

Mine from WS6 to WS7 , The main reason that i conversion it to WS7 because it has LSX 454 bottom end and the Top end has LXR performance induction LS7 heads

W66 is the Formula Merchandise Pkg
Y82 is the Trans Am Merchandise Pkg
All the V8 cars carry the WS9 Code, To be a Formula or Trans Am it must have the coresponding code aswell.
WS9 + W66 = Formula
WS9 + Y82 = Trans Am
WS9 + W66 + WS6 = Formula WS6
WS9 + Y82 + WS6 = Trans Am WS6

Ive never heard of this "real WS7" car but I think people putting a "WS7" badge on a car just cause they got a ram air hood is just stupid.
