Packages that dealers offered are not "stock". Dealer add-ons, even if there are several cars in a series, are not the same as factory options or factory authorized outsourced/contracted modifications (like SLP and the SS/Firehawk, or ASC and the WS6).

In other words, there is no "real" GM Regular Production Order WS7 (real as in GM built/contracted and recognized to be like a WS6 but not a WS6). It's only as real as the dealer or individual owner that put it together.

WS7 is (or at least was) the name of an aftermarket hood too. The way I look at it, whats the difference between someone putting a WS7 badge on their car that has a WS7 hood and someone who has the brand name of their rims on the center caps on their wheels?

If someone had Fikse wheels, with Fikse centercaps, it's obvious they dont think that their car was a "Fikse Firebird", or that the Fikse wheels were factory.

Btw, I have a WS9 bade on my car...and it is a real, factory WS9!!!

Yeah. Kind of like the WS7. Mecham makes a Z29R Hood (similar to an ultra Z hood), tips, emblems, and spoiler for 4th gens.\

So these z29s have any performance upgrades from a stock z28?
