Kooks mufflers
I looked around at the different forums and not sure if there is a better place to post this...
I don't live too far from their shop here in NC. They have a good reputation and I'm probably going to let them put a 3" ss exhaust in my new LS7 build. The problem is I don't know anything about how a Kooks muffler sounds. They will substitute a muffler of your choice, but I was just wondering what the Kook muffler sounds like.
Anyone have any experience with their products? Seems they have a bullet race type muffler and an oval, more conventional type muffler.
thanks

I have their 1 7/8 headers with 3" off road mid pipes and 3" catback and it sounds really good. Wish i could have choose different mufflers though, i really liked the ones i had for my axle back that were more a bullet style and louder. These are more quiet but loud once WOT.

Thanks for the replies. Canada, what you have sounds like what I am wanting. I want to be able to carry on a conversation at cruise, but have that nasty sound at WOT.
