Default 2004 Silverado engine swap results

My 2004 3/4 ton Silverado happened to lock the engine Jan 1 this year. After finally getting a used shirt block, it needed to be bored out at minimum .020, so be it. After that, why install a engine and not have installed a new cam with it to promote power, and sound? In went a GM hotcam. Cheap eBay headers at the 1 7/8 variant. Y pipe to a 6" bullet muffler. Then of course the final needs, a circle D 12" 3/3200 converter. Truck runs pretty damn good. The 33" mud tires kill any hard launch but I didn't built it for that. It is to be more effective towing and more power all around.

Hope you guys like the sound, everyone else seems to:

Thanks man. Still wondering what to do with the intake. Has a misfire code and the intake leaks at #1 because of the heads being milled I guess and I think I may try to just pull the intake and try some RTV. May be just enough to fix it.

I'm not a mechanic, but RTV may hold at that point. That or you'll need to get real crafty with an intake and some sandpaper (lots of trial and error).

We will find out. Gotta see if I can mess with it today. I found that pulling the grille makes
Working on this thing much easier than before lol.
