F-body motor pull

Default F-body motor pull

If I pull the motor out of the bottom do I have to bring the trans with it or can I push the motor far enough fwd to get it out I really don't want to have to pull the transmission!!!!

I've always pulled them together, I'm not sure it'd be any better/easier pulling just the motor.

Edit: now that I think about it for a minute, I personally wouldn't try it I feel it's a lot of extra hassle for no reason.

Agreed! Not to mention the bellhousing bolts can be a PITA to get to if the motor is still in. It's just easier to drop he ttranny out with the motor and separate once they're out.

Thanks guy I did just pull them together it was alot easier

Do it together. I rather remove the trans mount and driveshaft in the span of 5 min than removing the bellhousing bolts in the span of 2 hours and thrown wrenches.
