F-body motor pull

F-body motor pull If I pull the motor out of the bottom do I have to bring the trans with it or can I push the motor far enough fwd to get it out I really don't want to have to pull the transmission!!!!

I've always pulled them together, I'm not sure it'd be any better/easier pulling just the motor.
Edit: now that I think about it for a minute, I personally wouldn't try it I feel it's a lot of extra hassle for no reason.
