Ordered factory Delphi pump from local trusty parts store, 280$ ...seems pricey..
Anyways, I have a trap door open in the hatch and old pump ready to take out when I get the new one..
Is there a certain procedure to where the pump sits in the tank or does it just kinda float while being connected to the top of tank?

It sits in there just about touching the bottom of the tank. The lines on your tank will orient the direction of where it sits. Simple swap bro. Done a hundred of them. Just make sure the pump runs before you button everything up.
