4.8 Chevy Cylinder head question in 2006 van? I have searched and googled a ton of stuff about this engine. I need to know what cylinder heads are on this 2006 chevy 2500 express van. I can get the heads for virtually nothing but I cannot read the head casting number in the van because its too far back to read. Does anyone know what head is on this motor? Any help is appreciated. Thanks very much.

I'm not very familiar with that van, but others I have came across at the junkyards, I just got inside and opened up the engine compartment on the drivers side and the head casting number is right there on the top corner of the head. You may be able to stick your phone back in there with the flash on and either take some random pics to get it or a slow video of it recording with the flash on.

Yeah I don't know a whole lot about what comes on them. The 2005 5.3 with gen 4 internals I have came with 799's and a buddy I work with has an 05 truck he bought new and it has 799's on it too. The last van I saw in the junkyard was an 04 with 862's.
