Hi Team, first thanks up front for any help. I just purchased a used LS3 engine and was told it was a 2010 from a C6 Corvette. Everything points to this being the correct engine for this car but I wanted to decode the partial VIN on the engine block. I have searched a gallion websites to figure it out, I think the engine is a 2011 and not a 2010. The issue is that the engine has changed hands several times starting off at an auction where it was in Corvette that was a Z06 and it was suppose to have a LS7 and not an LS3. If anyone could help me decode this number I would really appreciate it. The partial VIN is 1D*1B5102586
