99 camaro looking for 10s
I have a 1999 camaro Texas speed headers slp exhaust 241 heads port polished and decked gm hot cam ls3 timing chain/lifters ls6 intake port and polished throttle body Mallory oil pump, t56 built by John Winters, monster clutch. I知 looking into a stand alone nitrous 200 shot plate kit. Will that be enough to get me in the 10s if my rear end holds up?

I would think HCI2000SS car would run deep deep into the 10's.
I'm a auto but run 11.2@121 with trans issues on a H/C/I setup and I'm not spraying. I should be knocking on 10's door next spring. So something as small as a 50 shot would get me there.
I would think even a 150 shot would net ya a 10.6 - 10.8
You may have to drive it harder than the 10 bolt will allow you tho.

A stock rear end 100% will not survive in a stick car. Period. Lots of guys try and find out the hard way. This year alone I broke several aftermarket chassis pieces and a driveshaft yoke.
I'd look through this list
https://ls1tech.com/forums/manual-tr...peed-list.html
See a combo similar to yours (i.e displacement, shot size, weight) go over the combo and see what it took to get there. I can tell you right now it's a long road with a manual.
I salute your efforts! Save the manuals!

With your car being a 6 speed it would be very wise to invest in some SUSPENSION parts such as a good pair vikings. Also watch your weight as as well. Not sure how much your car weighs....
And one last thing that may sounds stupid but is very helpful when trying to get the most out of a combo is to invest in a shift light. It' the best/cheapest mod I ever bought. Harlen is what I recommend.
