Default 2007 Silverado Engine swap

Hey , new to the forums.. Sorry if im posting in the wrong area..

Anyways on to my problem, i have a 07 silverado with a 5.3 it has the AFM and the engine knocks so im pulling it out and swapping it does anyone know what 6L will be a direct swap ? In terms of "plug and play"

LY6, L96, L92 will bolt right in.....Oil pan, Intake, Exhaust Manifolds & all! The L92 is a 6.2L.

If your replacement engine has VVT, You may want to delete that to get away from the failure prone timing chain tensioner.

You "MAY" be able to make the VVT work...But I'm not sure as VVT engines were never backed by a 4 speed auto so you may run into some ECM hardware issues.

Huh? My LY6 with VVT came with a 4l80e, It was a complete pull out.

Must be out of a Express/Savanna Van?.....I forget about the vans being wacky.
