LQ4 question

LQ4 question Alright from the research I have gathers. after 2000 the lq4 had aluminum heads on them, also a different length crank. If I am wanting to get a get 4 LQ4, what do I look for? Is there anything distinguishable to tell them apart? I am wanting the get 4 due to the upgraded rods on them. Most everywhere I look just says LQ4 but doesn't mention what year vehicle it came out of.
