Hi everyone. I have an 03 Silverado 4wd with extended cab that has a bad transmission. Bought one from a boy that came out of 02 Tahoe without torque converter. Mechanic went to put in and says will not fit that input shaft was a half inch too long. Any ideas as to why? Using existing torque converter. Guy I bought it from says it can’t be. I don’t know. I’m not a transmission specialists or anything close to it.
