WOT cutout for A/C compressor

What year car do you have? Some PCM programmers have the option of cutting the AC clutch off during WOT. I'm not sure I'd trust manifold vacuum, as you gain RPMs the vacuum will increase, risking engaging the AC compressor just as you are approaching the "finish line". If I was doing this from scratch, I'd mount a micro-switch to the throttle body and use that to switch off the AC compressor when it goes WOT.

What are you trying to do exactly?
If you have an LSx and the stock ECU its programmed to cut the AC when you got WOT and reach a certain RPM. This is all tunable as well.

I have an 05 5.3 with 60143 controller, MSD EFI and Dakota Digital gauges.
I found out last week that the EFI has a tach output wire just for a relay that will do what I need.
thanks for all the suggestions,,,I should have mentioned my setup in the first post.
