Default Cam for a Van

Making this post as I’m helping my cousin build our work van. It’s a 04 savana and we just pulled a iron block lq4 to get new pistons and polished up. Question as the title says, what would be a good cam for the van? He wants something lumpy that will get good torque numbers. The goal is 500hp n/a so we are looking for some 243 heads with lq9 pistons and the right cam to try and get as close as we can.

also if anyone knows a good tuner in Vancouver bc for when it’s done would be awesome.

These are mutually exclusive goals.

I’m only going on what he asked for. Currently getting ported ls1 heads and waiting to hear back from Lunati for a spec’d cam. I’ve convinced him no matter what cam is in it, there will be a difference in sound.
