I'm attempting that myself on a 99 V6 and I'm sure it will be a challenge.
Parts gathered so far is the V8-k-member, GM V8-engine harness for a T56, LQ9/LS3 370 build in progress. I have a T56 but may sell it to for a PG or TH400 as it will not be able to support my power goals. I'm pretty sure you can flash the ecm as they are the same but with the V6 car being drive by wire I'm not so sure anymore. I'm looking to make this as strip car and still run the factory ecm.
