Default Installing TSP 2" fbody headers

I just ordered a set of tsp's 2in primary 3in collector headers. Fbody guys that are running these, what did you do for a ypipe? Did you modify tsp's 3in Y, or did you make your own?

If you can manage to shove it in the that engine should scream. Let me know how the install goes.

I have the TSP 2" primaries and 3.5" collectors. The driverside header needs to be dimpled around the steering shaft. The passenger side needs to be dimpled around the collector area close to the subframe. Nice headers for the money.

Installing a LS2 and a t-trim, hoping it screams. I'll post some pics once we get the headers and ypipe figures out.

My mechanic installed them with the motor, went in without any modification. The 3in ypipe that Texas speed says doesn't work with their 2in headers, worked great. The ypipe ends further rear by a few inches, that's it.

Hmm I was going to purchase the 1 7/8 from TSP as I didn't want fitment issues. What k-member are you using?

Kinda cool someone bumped this up. I have non kooks headers on my kooks exhaust. I need 2 inch primaries. Would be great if these fit the bill and worked with the kooks system.

Anyone know, or am I just going to have to find out the hard way?

Kooks offers a 2” primary header for f body that fits with the Kooks exhaust system. You can even get the optional LS7 flange.

This is true and I have that but he asked if the TSP 2" primaries will fit the KOOKS exhaust.

The big thing to check when mismatching headers and y pipes is collector length. Some are longer than others.
