So I just picked up a 2001 z/28 roller, got the engine and battery harness with it. Battery harness being that it has positive and negative battery connectors, What I assume is positive and negative fuse box and positive for starter. My question is would it hurt anything to hook up the harnes to battery and fuse box to check car for power and all Interior electronics condition without having engine in with all engine and chassis grounds hooked up?

It shouldn't hurt but without the grounds connected its gonna' be weird as to what exactly will work.
