^^ Wonderful reply. Thanks! I'm not the only one for sure. it's been almost another year since I started this thread, and also after a trip to FL a few months ago, Still going strong. This will be fun to see how long it lasts. Might die tomorrow but what a great ride it's been.

AC compressor died in my 99 T/A in 2015, got 16 years and thought that was pretty good. Replaced and so 7+ years and good.
The AC worked in my dad's 72 vette without issues from until after 2001, other than a fan motor.
AC in my 91 RS Convertible still worked in 2018 so 27 years. It had a slow leak in 2014 and was converted to R134. Still works for new owner.
02 Z28 has the original system and still works well.
