headlights Hi, I can not find the correct forum or any good long threads about the headlights. I have 'upgraded' them, but now its worse than stock. What would you recommend? I have $650 into them (including install) already. Any other good places I could learn more about this? What I want is something super bright. Thanks!

When you say you upgraded them, what exactly did you do? HID, LED, new housings, projector style replacements...?
Unfortunately, there are a lot of snake oil "upgrades" out there.

As for HID lights, I've used the Xentec lights off ebay for years in just about everything I've owned. Rarely I ever had a bulb blow. Never had a ballast go out. Plus they are usually warranted from the right seller. Had a set in my 2006 duramax for over 10 years and never had to replace anything. then sold truck with them still in it.
As for housings, theres good an bad out there.
Ironic that I actually just ordered 2 sets 5 min ago. One for my 08 duramax I picked up and a Grand Prix GXP I just got 2 days ago for my daughter.

The housings will generally be the cause of unsatisfactory lighting. Which ones did you get? The LMC housing are quite popular here and very effective with the right bulbs. Are they HID housings or generic halogen housings? The beam pattern is very different between the two and HID bulbs in halogen housings can cause inferior illumination no matter how bright the bulbs are... not to mention how badly they blind other drivers.
If they are halogen housings then you might be better off just using 9005/9006 high intensity halogen bulbs for the best performance. Check out this thread: https://ls1tech.com/forums/wiring-st...ht-option.html.
You could try installing good LED bulbs (not from ebay or even Amazon). V-LEDs would be your best bet there but whatever you buy you want them to be in the 5000K (preferable) or 6000K (acceptable) color with the LEDs mounted on the bulb in the same position and orientation as the filament of the equivalent halogen bulb. You should also look for bulbs which can be "clocked" - the base can be rotated in relation to the socket to position the LEDs horizontally on the sides rather than top and bottom or some odd angle.
