Default T-Tops Wind Resistance?

Random question and I didn't know where to post it so I'll post it here. On the highway a fox chassis mustang with a giant cowl hood and obnoxiously loud exhaust wanted to see who was faster. When he got side by side to me, we gunned it at 75 and I was pulling ahead steadily and easily beat him, but I didn't smoke him either. I had my t-tops off and my windows down. I have absolutely no idea how much extra drag I had, but I'm guessing it was a hell of a lot especially going over 100.

By the way, my car is a 2001 ls1 trans am, 6 speed and forced induction. 455 rwhp
I wish I knew what he had done to the car. I'm going to guess the cowl hood wasn't just for looks and there was some engine crap done. The exhaust he had is still making my ears ring. I know a normal 5.0 would've been embarrassed.

How much of a factor did open t-tops have? Anyone have an educated guess?

Yeah, a T-Top with the tops off is going to be scooping and grabbing more air than even a convertible. The aerodynamics of the car are gone.
