Do oem flex fuel vehicles make more or less power on e85 than they would on 87 octane and the stock tune?

I wasn’t sure if say an ‘09 Expedition or whatever was out during the Flex Fuel push would advance the timing enough on its own on E85 to make more power or if it was just able to “run” E85. You know like how a car that’s setup to run on 87 octane won’t make anymore power on 93 but it’ll still run on it.

It has been dyno proven may times just running E85 even on the same timing as regular gasoline makes more power. Mostly because E85 is fairly highly Oxygenated. The ability to add timing will make additional power as well but Engine Masters has an episode on this and just going to E85 and leaving everything else the same did make a noticeable difference in power.

I don't even start my car but maybe every month or two and have had zero negative effects from e85. Have checked the filters before as well. Nothing.
