1998 z28 Camaro engine swap
I recently blew my ls1 in my 98 z28 and am looking for something to replace it. I found a nice looking engine on eBay at a good price and low mileage. However, the engine is said to be for a 2001-2003 Camaro. Does anybody have any information on how the swap would be. eBay says the engine is not compatible but I’m sure the people on here would be more knowledgeable.

2003 Camaro? That engine won't be compatible with anything because it doesn't exist.
But a 2001-02 engine will work just fine, except that it won't have EGR (so you would either need to swap over your intake or just delete the EGR if you don't need it for emissions) and the center bolt valve covers won't support the individually mounted ignition coils that your '98 came with (which is a non-issue if the new engine comes with it's original coils and coil mounting rails, otherwise you would have to source this separately).
The engine itself is entirely compatible though.
