Just Bought First LS1 Camaro
Arrived today off the truck. 1998 Z28.
Love how it drives and sounds and this is my favorite color.
Have a few questions. First of all I removed that crossbar under the hood. It's too heavy and I am a weight freak. Do you think it worth keeping it on?
Where should I look for some programming upgrade?

The car looks great! Congrats on the arrival! (I'm also sending a reply to your PM)
The 2-point shock tower bar doesn't do much to improve handling on these, it's not going to hurt but I don't think you'll notice much difference either way. If you're looking to save every pound, you're probably better off removing it.
I wouldn't spend any money on tuning/programming until after you've done some modifications, unless you plan to keep the car 100% stock and just want to optimize the tune as much as possible. Otherwise, I'd suggest waiting until you make some changes that will actually require or significantly benefit from tuning - because the gains will be pretty minimal on a stock car.

I don’t have a strut brace on my Camaro but I have one that came stock on another car that’s a 3 point brace and I can’t tell a difference between when it’s on or off.
