Valve noise I had a collapsed lifter on my 2013 chevy silverado 5.3 flex fuel engine. Pulled the heads and sent for rebuild. Didn't see any damage to cam so left it alone. Replaced lifters. Inspected pushrods, etc. All good. Followed all torque sequences and all got it back together and the valves sound like an old chevy diesel conversion. LOUD. after warm up its no better.
