I was leaving a track event last month on a Friday night. As i was getting on the highway going home going about (65 mph),My engine shutoff and then come on.I put my foot on the peddle to give it gas to see if that's the issue for the short time cut off of my engine.I made it home with no further issue. 2 Friday ago this month, my ride shutoff again (3x) and this time the engine didn't come back on like the last time last month.I pulled off on a side road and try to start it up. It wont start up at all.It will turn but not catch fire.I had to wait 5 min later and the ride will fire up.I notice each time that my idling was low and sputtering.I was give it gas,the ride was barely moving,then something kick in for it to take off like HELL.

What engine? What ignition system? This seems heat related.

I had a fuel pump go bad on me once and it did this very same thing.
