Just got a 02' SOM Trans Am base convertible, with 56K on it. A4, all stock. Problem was, it came from a hillbilly couple, that I'm 90% sure raised chickens in it. After the thrill of the find wore off, the reality hit. Anyone have a SOM driver's door I can buy?

Hello All,

Been looking for a SOM WS6 for a long time and ran across a 2001 SOM Auto WS6 with 52,000 miles on it at a small local dealership.

Car appears to be bone stock. Has the two tone beige/charcoal interior.

A few questions. I am assuming its an original WS6 but is there a way to tell from the VIN if its real and what number it is?

Also I am working with them on a price. What is this car worth?

I'm no Trans am expert but assume the rpo code Ws6 would be in the door jamb. Sunset orange seems to command more money but the end its worth what you pay. I bought my som ss with similar miles for 11,000 for reference but the prices I see on other ss being more I think he could have sold it for 12 to 13 if he really wanted to wait. A sponsor here emblempros has his Som Ws6 a4 for sale 3x,xxx miles if I remember right and I think he wanted 15,000.

Thanks for the advice and the tip about emblempros car being for sale. I contacted Roger about it. Hoping we can work something out.

I also have another question. Looking at Rogers 01 SOM WS6, his has "Camel" interior which has a nice mix of tan and dark charcoal. This other 01 SOM WS6 I am looking at has what looks to be a lighter interior. Seats look to be camel, but the carpet is beige, complete door panels are beige and a few more items are beige, versus Rogers Camel interior.

Were there several options when it came to interior colors with these cars?

Ok, my first post ever on LS1Tech.. long time creeper, just registered tonight. I just grabbed a 2002 WS6 SOM from its original owner.. woman owned and special ordered. its an automatic with 67k miles. but that makes it one out of 161 I believe. Anyway. i just got it. havent been able to do anything with it yet except take it to the car wash. I know she's a rare one. I plan on doing mods to it, nothing major, and posting it here. Taking aboslute care of it. I love this site in the last 30 days ive been here, its awesome... anyway, I have a WS6 SOM!!! WOOHOO!!
