Ordered my 2001 SOM WS6 in January 01, took delivery March 16, 2001. Here are my build numbers straight from Marty Straub.
Hi John,
I'm still way behind, but I'll get yours out a little "early".
According to our records, your S/N 137616 is an orange 2001 WS6 with T-Tops
and a manual transmission. It was converted by ASC February 20, 2001 and
was our build number 5,554.
The 2001 model year WS6 breakdown is:
7,869 WS6s built
7,088 T-Tops
4,107 manual transmissions
365 orange
With your specific combination (orange, T-Tops, manual trans), we built
195.
Sorry, but we didn't track interior colors.
I hope this information is helpful. Thanks for your patience.

I'm really having a hard time with the paint codes. It seems to me there is more than one shade of SOM. Personally, it seems as though the SOM I find on f-bodies to be a bit darker/ richer than most. For Example, the pictures displayed in this thread show the exact color I'm looking for........however, when I do searches for paints I somehow come up with a lighter version as can be seen HERE
It just doesn't seem right to me, can someone look in their glove box and throw some paint codes at me? Just wondering how many variations there are in the code.
thanks,
-Blake
