I paid £5000 ($8000) for a 99 Z28 in Aug 2005 private sale

A dealer would want £8,000-£10,000 ( $13,600- $17000 ) that's in the UK

All my freinds can't beleive I got a 99 Z28 LS1 at such a bargain price.

yeah that's a great price. Over here I've seen them at dealers listed at $16,000 w/ 60k on the clock. But I practically stole mine with 50k on the clock for $9,000. Almost all options- bone stock, taken very well care of- by 2 older women. So I'm not worried about it being abused at all.

I got my 2000 Z28 w/no factory options (wanted to build a drag car)so I could not pass it up. 14,000 miles in December 03 for $12,900 . As of 03/06 I have $16,730 in the whole car including price of the car and it has run a best of 11.01 at 122 so far.

gots a 2002 ws6 bone stock 3 months ago with 17500 miles .paid 20,000 forit. from a dealer none the less. still had new car smell. old lady bought it for her husband as a50 aniversery gift brand new. the geezer kicked the bucket a year and half later. sat in her garage 2 years befor she could bring herself to trade it for a new mercedes. what a deal huh?
