Little go, Little handling. I wouldnt go STS. you can get headers, Y-pipe, Exhaust, pully, MAF, Lid, T-Stat, and plenty of other small bolt ons, for an awesome price....especially in the parts for sale forum on good ol ls1tech. awesome deals in there. And after that you would have some left over for suspension....MMMMM. all for less than a STS system. also have to go with 777 on the 200 to 450 WHP comment, take it slow man. and have fun.

Do some nice wheels, then def a catback and headers, then an ls6 intake and an air lid. That will get it sounding nice and looking good. Figure you can get some nice wheels from tom z wheels for a good price ($600 or so), then pacesetters and ory ($500), magnaflow catback ($400), ls6 intake ($300), then air lid ($80).

i wouldnt even go STS... a good head and cam car could probably run with a stock internal STS kit on 7 psi (i dont know this for a fact, just speculation)... It would probably be cheaper to go all bolt ons and then head and cam and maybe nitrous as money becomes available. STS kits hit the pocket book all at once. by the way... if you plan to race the car a lot, go performance first. if the car is a daily driver or wont see a track, go looks. its all in

honestly like some of the others are saying, go half and half. get some aftermarket exterior goodies so you dont blend in with every other stock camaro in the parking lot. then get the bolt on's and a nitrous kit. it will be way easier on the pocket book and it gives you time to build up a car and have fun, not just bolt a turbo kit on and be done with it...where's the fun in that?

Do a bit of both, get the windows tinted, and some wheels and tires.
Then go for some performance mods, lid, catback, headers & Y, heads, cam, N2O
IMO the turbo is too expensive for the hp you get, ($5k for what 100 hp) but if you want it, then get it, up to you

Neither...My 1st would be suspension then Performance. After all what good is it to have a butt load of HP if it won't stick to the ground.

I'll second that.

As far as the wheels go, they're pretty nice. Although I like the Black ZR-1 replica's a little better, although I did have them on my red '94 z28. And for exhaust, i'd say go with a cutout. Even if you spend the $150 on an electric one, your still saving at least $150 if you buy the cheapest catback, plus a cutout will out perform any catback, any day of the week, and sound better while doing it!

not always, there are some catbacks that flow like a *****! go to the dyno section and look at before and after cutout set ups. there are people there only picking up 1 hp sometimes with the cut out open when running a prestine catback. and again i say, PRESTINE catback, yeah if you get a flowmaster you'll recover your 25 hp loss with the cutout.

I don't know about that. I actually LOST torque when I dynoed my LS1 Trans Am with the cut-out open.

For those who dont know much about the STS, there basic kit is $3900....on a stock internal LS1 engine they are making over 500hp to the wheels, so you are getting mroe than a 100hp increase.....ALSO you can finance it so it dont hit you all at once, only in the long run with the intrest.

There are more ways than one to get what ya want, do a lil here and there, I talked to one of the guys from STS last sunday he said that the Turbo's work well with Header's too so you can still go that route......

Do some more research and go with what YOU really want, cause you will never be happy until you get what you want......Show AND go is nice, but a sleeper is just a kick in the nuts!!

Have fun with it which ever way you deside to go.....these are great and fun cars.....
