One thing is for sure, my next Corvette will not be black! I am so tired of fighting a losing battle in keeping it clean. Even when the roads are completely dry here, the car only stays clean looking for about 10 miles worth of driving and then the next time you stop you see dust all over the back bumper.
They offer a color now on the Grand Prixs called Blue-Green Crystal Metallic, maybe you've seen it. It's very much like BGC was, but this time GM is charging more for the color. I'd love to get a GP GXP in that color.

I know what you mean about the black. My '89 Formula was black (w/ silver bottom) and it got dirty FAST, but it looked so nice for those 10 miles that it was clean!

I think I have seen that color on the newer GPs a couple of times, but never up close enough to really get a good look.

I washed and waxed my car this morning, took it on a 30 minute drive and it's already got a noticeable layer of dust on it when you look closely at it. Black does look wicked but only for short periods of time.

I've got #2, 3, and 4 sitting in my driveway right now. #1 was sold in 2001, I still miss it.
