Its funny, a lot of people get all butthurt when they see Cobra guys talking about our cars on their boards and throwing out all this misinformation...well, this **** is the same way, but backwards. Stop doggin on Cobra's, they are great machines.

I agree they are great cars. I am not doggin them. All I am saying from the few other posts are one is forced induction and the other is just motor. I was just giving the Camaro an idea on how to equal the playing field. Shot Cobra vs. Camaro stock it doesnt take rocket science to know who would win. John

My buddy had an 01 Cobra and I could beat him stock for stock when I had my stock TA. He got an off-road X pipe and an intake and the cars were even. I'd hate to think of what a blower on top of that would do to a stock LS1. Heck, I'm scared of the 03-04's, and my Z pulls harder than my TA spraying a 75 shot.

It's nearly impossible to outshift a computer in a strait line. I didn't say impossible, but it takes a very good driver. My comment was meant being from a stop. I have seen stalled A4 stock internal LS1's with a stall spraying off the line pull 1.5x short times with 3.23 gears and run low 11's in the 1/4. That was my reasoning. I would love to have an '03/'04 Cobra and I'll never talk **** about 'em b/c I like 'em, but I'm a loyal Chevy/GM guy.

Not true, i raced a pullied/tuned 03' cobra and beat him by like 3 cars. with 290hp. I happened to have slicks and a converter and he had IRS, tee hee hee. Either way i still would of ******* owned him bc i chose to not use my nitrous that run. And that was back in the day........ now im almost in the 10'ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

im gonna say the cobra would take the win....i know first hand, my buddy has had 2 03 cobras and stock vs. my bolt ons ls1 he pulled me about 2 cars....i've seen them run mid to low 12's still with the window sticker and plastc on the seats
