I like the Z28 a lot but if i got a 4th gen new, I would have got a Firehawk, then SS, then Z28, then trans am.

Love the look hate how the seats fit me. I was originally going to buy a Red WS6 with White interior and White Convertable top but didn't get a good trade value for my GTP. Went to the GM dealer and picked up my Camaro SS the same day. My inlaws have an WS6 and I get to drive it once in awhile.

Z28 = Playboy.
T/A = Hustler.

As you get older, Playboy somehow is still respectable.

Doesn't mean you don't miss the Hustler.

Before I got my SS I went back and forth on which one I wanted. I looked at them over and over, but eventually after very much thought decided on the SS. I couldn't be happier.

I owned a Firebird first then a Camaro, both 94's. When looking for a new Fbody in 2002 I didn't care if it was a Camaro or Firebird as long as it had T tops and a 6 speed. The Camaro SS was what I found at the time and I love it. I'd still take a Firehawk as I wanted one of those but didn't find a new one.

I wish i could have found a firehawk. I love my ta and i think camaros are just to plain for me. but i do agree with the fact that it is alot easier to customize a camaro and make it different for the next. it is alot harder to do that with a ta.

Im not trying to be rude in the least. But what areas does the SS dominate the WS6 and Firehawks? (Again, this is purely out of curiosity, no hostile tone what so ever). I like the look of my car opposed to a camaro, but like one guy said, its alot easier to make a camaro more unique, I like my hustler though!

**** no! If I wanted a Trans Am I would've bought one. As far as 4th gen Firebirds go, I only like the 98+ years. Both 4th gen F-bodies actually had to grow on me for awhile, and I wasn't into the LT1 years, Camaro or Firebird.

...but hey, to each his own. I love 2nd and 3rd gen Firebirds.(70-73, 77-81, late 80's GTA's and Formulas.)

I love my SS, but I'm not one of these **** knockers whose gonna try to explain why my car is cooler than your car. If your sweating the TA, sell your Camaro and get one.

This thread is pretty cool so far, but Camaro vs TA threads are usually

I had a '98 Z28 and grew to dislike the hell outta the looks of it. Granted, they can modded into great looking cars - in stock trim, they leave a lot to be desired; IMO, anyway.

My best friend had a 2001 WS6 at the time and I drooled everytime I saw it.

Now I see 2 things when I see a stock Camaro :
1) Catfish

2) 2-door Chrysler 300M.

I agree completely with the door panels. The Camaro ones look like they came out of an '87 Dakota. That's why I replaced mine with those out of an ebony 2002 Trans Am.

I was hoping to get an SS but couldn't find one so I got my TA. I really wish I was more patient back then. I see a WS6 almost everyday. An SS is a rare sight in my area.

:flame suit on:

I do like both though, and would own both if I could.

Those features of the WS6 are what kept me from getting one.

I like both too, though.

I think the TA needs little and looks best near stock. The camaro has potential but needs a lot to get the job done right. Also when my grandfather bought a 98 300 new it looked too much like a camaro and it has always stuck in my head since then. Thats funny that you mention it.

2) 2-door Chrysler 300M.

just a personal opinion, 90% of the fun is modding it to be unique, and it seems they r more options with camaros, and i also see tons of ws6's around here but hardly any if any at all SS's, dont get me wrong im in love with ws6's also

You make a strong argument with that lame assed Camaro picture. Stock Z28's do need some help. As far as I'm concerned, the grill usually needs to be body color, to eliminate the "catfish" look. Wheels should be at least 17's, I don't like the Z28 spoiler. I love the SS hood, though some cars pull off the Z28 hood. Most important, that ****** should be black!
