Next mod ?
Next mod ? I have 400 bucks to spend on my car right now and I was wondering what mod/mods I should do to my car. My current mods are in my sig, I also have a Pro 5.0 shifter...
I was thinking of possibly going with 410 gears, I can get them installed and running for about 380 bucks, but I would need to get the speedo calibrated. How much will that run me? Ive had my car dyno-tuned before...
I dont really want nitrous, so I was thinking of possibly an LS6 intake or an aftermarket throttlebody, but Im hesitant to add any of it until I go big with H/C in the future...

Depends really on what you want from the car and what you use it for.
The rear end is pretty weak on the Fbody and easily broken with a M6 car, most upgrade for a 12 bolt of a 9". So gears may be fun and will make a difference to performance but you'll run the risk of producing a bigger cost in the future.
Apart from that there are so many mods out there:
-induction
-suspension
-chassis
-brakes
-power adder
A Ls6 intake and a stock ported TB should make a difference and should be within budget. Apart from that the next option would be a FAST 90/90 setup but that'll be more money.
Chassis and suspension mods may be well worth it, they won't add HP but they'll tighen up the car in the corners and will be well worth the investment once you start upping the HP.

Hmmm, I am running on drag radials right now. I really dont plan on going huge with H/C just yet, this is my daily driver and until I find another car and save up some money(which is almost impossible as you can tell) then I have to keep this car as reliable as possible.

I'm skeptic as to whether I can gain 25 HP to the rear wheels, and also, I dont want to do something like that yet, because it will most likely affect my tune. With the gears I would just have to calibrate the speedometer...
