check with Canadian Customs for importing, for the US side(exporting) you must stop at US Customs with the title and bill of sale. Leave it with them for 72hrs and have the vehicle present for exportation(after 72hrs) then go to Ca. and pay all that province tax.

I just bought a car in Carlisle, PA and it's just like RGR Pete said. Leave title at the US border for 72 hours, take car over to Canada Customs and pay importing fee and GST. I then had to pay the rest of the tax (about 8%) when I registered the car. The real pain was getting a letter from Ford of Canada that said the car I imported had no more recalls and they charged me $100 for the letter...

Do the math looking at roughly 8% tax.
