The GM exec that decided to not put cup holders on the drivers side door of these cars needs to punished. Severely. Enough is enough.

Damn man, there is more cup holders in these cars then there are seats! I never heard some complain about not having enough cup holders in the 4th gens. Maybe throw away the old ones so you can use the holders then!

Yea, but its placed conviently in the way of your arm when youre shifting. Besides, its way too shallow to hold anything without constantly worrying about if its going to fall over or not.

I just drink bottled drinks. I can just hold it between my legs while I drive as I don't like anything cluttering up my console, or I'll use the bond cupholder as well. My method works for me cause it keeps me relatively cool when I don't use the A/C.

Whats the 'bond' cupholder???

The one that flips out from the passenger side of the center console??

There are plenty of cupholders, the drivers one is kind of awkardly placed and the back two are kind of shallow, but theres nothing to complain about short of that.

You have three others to chose from...pick one. And why is it such a bother that a cupholder is there? If you've got 44oz of QT in there, I don't think you need to be Speed Racering it, anyway.

Or maybe I designed the cupholder that way to **** people like you off. Yeah, that's right...I was the President of the Automotive Cupholder Placement Program back in the day. Come get some

I agree with teh first poster, I've often thought about that. My car has 2 cup holders ( as his does ) not five like 97+ t/a's... and the 1 in the center console is useless. The one in the passangerside door panal is what I usually use if the drinks big enough not to slide around, otherwise I hold it with my left hand and use my pinky to hold the steering wheel when I shift.
