Am I missing something? How does "gundo" refer to race at all? Is this a slang term that I've never heard of?

And to answer your question, if the same amount of money was put into both the Camaro and the Lancer, the Camaro would be faster everytime.

Bingo. UnitZ28 is just bitter because his car is a lemon.

The new Lancer Evolution IX is just as fast as a stock LS1 SS/Z28.

I believe they're about the same stock for stock, but as cooltc2004 said, "if the same amount of money was put into both the Camaro and the Lancer, the Camaro would be faster everytime."

It depends on what you want. A new Evo is gonna cost you alot more than buying even a 2002 SS. You could then take the money you saved from paying less on the SS and put that money into bolt on's and other mods. This in turn would make the SS alot faster than the Evo. But it depends on what you want and what your gonna do with it. Just my $.02. Later

I verified it. He's right. I thought it was a joke, so I checked and it's true. But how does two cars fit into this equation?

The Evo is really good at drag racing on the street.

Plus it can be really cheap to upgrade turbochargers on a car that was designed to use one.

It is probably easier to make a lot of horsepower on an Evo than on an LS1 F-Body. If you take an F-Body to a shop to install a SC/TC then they are probably going to just screw it and charge you out the ***.

The Evo already has forged parts and already has all the plumbing and hangers and crap like that for its power adder.

The Camaro is pricey to have a ton of horsepower if you aren't able to do do-it-yourself work. Whereas the Evo already has half the work done. Though stock-for-stock the LS1 has a lot on the top end if you have 3.23 gears.

You don't see many F-Body vs. Evo races, apparently they fear losing to one another. For good reason as well.

Lastly dude don't go driving an F-Body around saying "gundo". I don't give a **** what race you are it sounds lame. Plus saying a "word" (I hesitate to call it that it is more like a sound) then commenting on someone's spell is also lame. At least he used the latters that actually are in the word.

I don't know if you are planning on being a member on this site if you only have 4 posts but welcome anyway.

Gundo sounds more redneck than black anyway. I'm gundo that girl in the *** with a my gundo.

gundo=gunna do

Way redneck if you ask me.
