a stall doesn't matter on the highway only if its a locking coverter.

A bit over 200 in the city, and 380 on the highway. Lost 20miles after the cam install on the highway.

Not the all out racing ones. Check out Yank's site, they have both on there.

Correct. But, like was stated, we can't refuel at highway speeds and measure just highway MPG, the stall does come into effect at accelerating.

haha, everyone knows we can't refuel on the highway, but when you are on a road trip you refuel(at a gas station next to the highway), then accelerate One time and then your at highway speeds and you can easily figure out your highway mpg.

If your are goin to be that specific about "refueling at highway speeds" then no one should ever post highway mpg again. Meaning the 10 other people that posted highway mpg should retract that part of their post...

This arguement is retarded.

The issue with A4 vs. M6 on highway is still not equal. For instance, I am at ~2300 RPM's at about 65-70 MPH. Whereas a 6-speed is below 2000 RPM's. I dont have the extra 2 gears like 6-speeds do.

Who said anything about a 6-speed? The car I was refering to is an A4...
btw, I realize how a m6 works vs. an a4

you were just talking about the difference a stall makes and now your talking about the difference a M6 makes, wtf? make up your mind on what to argue about.

btw, i think everyone here understands how A4's and M6's differ...

but thanks for the reminder.

Also, When me and my friend drove across freakin Texas in his car with a 232/236 cam we got 400miles to a tank multiple times.

Jesus...people need to realize this is supposed to be a friendly ls1 site where people can read public posts in hope of getting good information; Not a place where you post publicly for the sole purpose of trying to prove someone wrong, or make them look stupid, or talk ****, or whatever the hell some of you guys get off on...

If that upsets you, I'm sorry, you can skip over my posts. Next time I will check with you to make sure my good information is adequate enough for you before I post.

Not trying to be a dick, but you didnt even mention what tranny your friend had in any of your posts but your most recent, let alone what stall. When you first said that it was highway and a stall shouldn't matter anyway you were reffering to what RPMWS6 quoted from raptorws6 posted, who has a 6-speed, so that was in reference to M6 vs. A4, then you mentioned your buddy, with out mentioning tranny until just now. And we can't assume you meant A4 because thats the title of the thread because you quoted a reference to a M6 guy. I agree this should be a site where people get along and not point people out, but you expect me to know exactly what you're thinking, which I can't do that.

Good point, your right, I never mentioned that the car was an A4, but I didn't say it was an M6 either...I guess I can see how you might have thought I was talking about an M6 seeing that I quoted rpmws6. Either way, at least this argument was half-way civilized...

Back to the subject at hand. No cam but I get less than 200 per tank. She's a weekend cruiser with combination city/ highway miles. The gear and stall really killed the mileage.

Thanks, and if my last post seemed rude or out of line, that wasn't my intention. I was just a lil confused.
