2002 ta
2002 ta yah so i walk home and theres a 2002 trans am sitting in my garage with 48000 miles.. possibly going to buy it.. my parents explorer is in the shop and the dealer dropped off a "courtesy car" he knows i want a ta/camaro.. so he found one to sell to me.. the thing is that my parents dont wanna go for it because of the miles.. its hard to convince them that 48k miles is **** on an ls1. in opinion of other members do you guys think 48k miles on an 02 ta is high? the car is immaculate.. inside and out.. no tick at start up nothing runs like the day it was born..

It's only 12K a year if you look at the fact it's 4 years old, which is not excessive, but you don't know how hard those miles were. They could've been 1/4-mile at a time, in which case the motor could be a bit worse for the wear. I'd look into the car's history a bit further before just jumping into it.
my 02 has alot more than that.........30,000 more to be exact....
but max brings up a good point.....i luckily knew the history of my car so i wasnt as scared to jump on it...but 48k is not alot at all
