I disagree. On mine the coolant came out of the weep hole and trickled down the passenger side of the water pump and motor. I had to trace it back up and over via the trail it left. I never actually saw it coming out of the hole while it was still installed.
When I got the pump off I could see the trail the coolant left going across the water pump right back up to the weep hole.

Either way, it's still leaking from around the pump. I had to do some snooping on the Yukon, too, since it hit the plastic "skidplate" and ran all the way back to the transmission.
I should have been more clear.

Ugh, due to an unfortunate event last night, I now need 2 new wheels, an axle bearing, and possibly an axle. Totalling roughly another $800 probably. The hits just keep on coming.

this month not much thankfully but in the last 6 months i have spent almost 6000 on it, between tranny, tranny cooler, converter, poly motor mounts, poly tranny mounts, rear diff, diff cover(mac girdle), long tubes, plugs and wires, and about a million lil miscellaneous things i thought i would never be done spending money! Than, for the first time in a long time i got to start it up! i got to drive it around, and it hasnt crapped on me! so i am happy! this month the only thing i bought was a new set of ET Streets cuz my old set just balded
long story short. Tires = 350 mounted and balanced(haha, balanced) and i dont count gas and ins. and payment, cuz those are t hings that you would have to buy no matter what

idk what my total price i spent in the last two months but ive been buying more stuff for my car each month then the previous.. and lots of expensive tools. and a good amount of aluminum tubing.
only other thing to check is leaking is the seals behind the pump, but the way there desined, i dont really see them leaking- unless installed improperly , mangled or the o ring being cut.
