I used to own a v6 camaro and with three passengers in the car it took about 5 minutes to get to 60 mph. Now that's sluggish.

Well they say every 100 pounds equals a 1/10 of a second in the 1/4 mile. So you'd be a little over 2/10 th's slower.

My Z28's never felt sluggish at all with passengers.

I doubt the weight would have been noticable in the feel of the car. If it was hot outside though, you would definately tell a difference.

I think it depends on how fat your friend is. 500 lbs will certainly make your friend and your car sluggish. I'm 260 so I'm pretty fat myself so I can make fat jokes.

I dont usually feel a difference with a passenger that is say 150 lbs. But over that, or 2 people, yea it feels like a Civic pulling a U-Haul.

2 people? You actually subject a non child to sit in the back? That is cruel

I was pissed at one of my brothers last year and stuck him in the back for a 100 mile trip to Cape May....He has not pissed me off since.

Yeah, I can feel a difference if my passenger is upwards of 200 pounds.
With my gf, who maybe weighs 120 I don't notice any change.
