SOM = Copper? I think my 01' TA is Copper and not SOM
it says "COPPER" on the driver side door panel information.
but it looks almost the same as most som pictures i've seen.
Do I actually have to edit my sig?

The color chart I got off of here somewhere shows Copper Metallic offered in 1986 in the Camaro. Nothing Copper for the 'birds since 1971. It's SOM. There does seem to be a lot of variation in shades though.

the first pic was after a meguires wash/clay/wax/polish and less on the way down and using Mothers and/or polish. so it changes a bit.
my camera i used on the first 3 pics is only i think 1.2 megapixel (so pretty crappy) and the last one was a 15 dollar digicam.
anyways, i'm going with SOM... thanks folks. I wonder if maybe it was sold as Copper.. thatd be kinda interesting.

yeah I found 71U on there.
whats this other little sticker that has like a barcode with my VIN under it. over the barcode in big font says U357 and then just right of it says Copper 01 Pontiac TA.
