I bought my 99 SS back in the beginning of May. Its seen a total of about 400 Miles and a tank and a half of gas. Now that it's finally cleaned up and buffed out, I hate to see it get all bugged up/covered in road dirt . It now sits at 12,4XX miles and will until sometime in the spring. Insurance is being cut back to comprehensive and that extra cash saved is being thrown to the modding budget. Come April it'll be time for some fun again

Yeah sitting until April SUX ***!! My father in Law is taking care of it right now. He starts it up and let's it run for a while....With the clutch the way it is now, he just takes it out for a few miles to keep her exercised.

I am hoping to have more than just the clutch to replace when I get home. I am hoping to have a heads and cam set up waiting as well. While doing the clutch, might as will do the heads and cam and get it tuned, and then take a nice long drive to San Antonio.

time is all I got right now.......Dreams along with that too....LOL

The way i look at it if i drive my truck to and from work it'll make my moments in the z28 that much more special. Not to mention if you drive an ls1 everyday it starts to feel almost slow and unimpressive. If you drive your daily driver often and the fast car sometimes the fast car wont feel slow to you.

It's not easy when I go out to the garage and see the SS, but I have an '05 3/4 ton powerstroke that is fun too.

It's hard not to drive the TA all the time, it's got 105k on it so it's driven alot. But in the rain and snow it doesn't see much if any action. If it's outta commission for mods i have the mustang to replace the speed fix and vice versa. If their both outta commission there's still the GTP although it isn't nearly as fast it looks good and is fun to drive.
