If you feel positive about what you are entering into then there is no point to debate it. Go for it and reap the rewards. I personally transfered a $25k balance to Citibank at 3.99% 2 years ago, and couldn't be happier. Especially since ING Direct pays 4.4-5.1% APY on Savings Accounts and 1yr CDs.
