If I did a cam, I would need tires, if I did tires, I would need a 9", if I did a 9", I couldnt justify just a cam, I would need heads/full exhaust, if I did that, the tranny would be in danger...on and on. Thats why my 5.0 was so damn expensive. THE WHOLE THING! was built up.

You are in denial. You will get the bug sooner or later. The lid is the "gate way drug" once you do that, there is no turning back.

Congrats dude, glad to see you finally got what you wanted!
I've been watching all of your MANY MANY threads asking rediculous/repetitive questions.
So how do you like it?
ALSO, dont change your name! Thats how I know how to avoid the threads you post! j/k
Seriously, thats how we know you...leave it as that.
Good luck the car!

I like it, VERY nice. The T-s leaked a bit so I put dielectric grease on them. The seals looked good and fit right I think. It should fix it I hope, leaked about a table spoon from each side into the seat, no puddles, just drops
about a 4 hour medium rain.

1. tranny wouldnt be in danger
2. you wouldnt necessarily need a rear end (im on a stocker)
3. nittos work fine![Winky](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_wink.gif)
4. and exhaust/lid ls1 has enough power to hang with most cars![Devil](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_devil.gif)
but i understand, after mildly modding my car im broke as joke now! but i say, who cares if its what u love doing? hey quick question though how does ws6 feel compared to your 5.0?? what do u think the results would be in a race?

The 5.0 felt meaner off the line, the WS6 wins hands down from a roll. I did some 70-100 stuff tonight and DAMN! Totally different feel. I love the LS1. So much more refined. And trying to corner in the 5.0...compared to this it feels like what I imagine trying to have sex with a limp dick must feel like. HORRID! WS.6 FTW!!!

dont be a little girl. My old roomate had a 99 WS6 that was suppose to stay "stock". First we did a lid with filter. Next was a 160 thermostat... then 373 gears.. then Borla catback... then SLP LT's with catted y-pipe. Now he has an 06 GTO that is suppose to stay "stock"... we'll see
