Headlight housing.. well the acuall light.
Not sure where to post this but does anyone know where i could buy some good headlights for my T/A?? all i can find is OEM replacements i wanted silverstars but the auto parts stor said they did not make them.. anyone help me with this? the stock oem just are not bright enough for me.

You can make your own housings like I (and others) have done and use H7 bulbs.

That is by far the cheapest sulution. I think the total cost was $50 or less ($20 for two H4703 housings, $20 for two standard Sylvania H7 bulbs, and $? for the high-temp silicone) and its certainly an improvement.
BTW, Sylvania SilverStar bulbs are not brighter, the are whiter. There is a difference. If you look at the actual lumens output, it is lower due to the tinting on the glass. Also, they tend to have a very short lifespan. If you want a brighter light, try to find GE Nighthawk, Phillips VisionPlus (I forget the correct name), or Sylvania ExtraVision. They are brighter with a clear bulb instead of a blue tint.
Some people have also used the RallyLights "freeform" housings and Hella premium lamps (some have said 100watts, but that sounds a bit high especially since the stock bulbs are 55watt low beam and 65watt high beam). Blackbirdws6 has that setup.
