Im not a big fan of T/A by Hagar.....it says American made, which as much as i hate to say it, its not unless you have a 3rd gen or older, and his plate says IEATZ28 or whatever.......i just think a newer harder song is more approiate for a newer harder car.
i think a good one would be, and i know im going against my harder for harder mentality but Runnin' With the Devil By Van Halen.
or Flirtin' with Disaster by Molly Hatchet.
or Move by Thousand Foot Crutch.
or Demon Speeding by Rob Zombie
or Highway Star by Deep Purple
or Happy By Mudvayne
or Free Bird by Skynyrd
Welcome to the Jungle by GNR
The Best I Can by Godsmack
Rock Of Ages by Def Leppard
Lets Get Rocked by Def Leppard
Lit Up by Buckcherry
Crazy Bitch Buck Cherry
and one of my personal favorites, unfortunately has been done before in a movie someone made doing some **** in a T/A is Blow Me Away by Breaking Benjamin.

Are they action shots (drag racing, highway, ect.)? Or are they still shots (front view, side view, and interior)? It would make a difference in song choice. If you have both, group all the still shots in the begining, then action shots at the end. Then you use a song that changes moods. Slow, mythotical, harmonic to start then heavy in CRUNCH to finish it off.

Jeff Beck's "Roys Toy" from the You Had It Coming CD.
Not sure but I think those are slp loudmouth that starts it out then plays through it. No lyrics, just guitar and a good sounding exhaust.
