Hey Gyrene, chill out dude. You make your problem public, you are going to get public input.
If you don't want to hear anyone's opinion then keep it to yourself.
Good luck and lay off the steroids.

well i wasn't directing anything towards you but something like tires are important, if you fishtailed because you were lacking in your tires department its nobodies fault but your own

Also, the guy is gonna put on the SS hood that i have in my shed, so ill get something out of the deal. Its gonna take about a month for the repairs.

no, as far as the headers are concerned, i think that will be pushing it, oh and dean, the hood they are installing is not the one i got from u, its one i bought off a guy up near u for $300, its the american sports car design ss hood. its never been used and still has the gel-coating on it, he decided he wanted the sunco cowl hood instead. urs is still sitting in the shed, u wanna buy it back? ill sell it too ya cheap!!

im kind of worried cause the guy says hes not gonna use the exhaust thats on the car and if i hadent shown up he was gonna put a stock z28 one on their. but when i told him it was aftermarket he said he would just have an exhaust guy copy the one on the car. i dont want a copy, i want my damn slp LM!! I think ill have my wife go back tommorow with the part name and number and the website its on and tell him thats what i want! I fear ill lose the cut-out regardless though, oh well, atleast its not gonna have the stock **** on it again.

Just an opinion but maybe people are giving you crap for your signature giving everyone the finger....Not a real great way to gain friends in my opinion joking or not.

I'll weigh in on this one. It sucks that your car got messed up but you need decent tires to drive in the rain with an fbody on the highway. I don't care if you were doing 40. With enough water on the road and minimul tread you are running the risk of spinning out. Now, I think the ticket is a load of **** and you should fight it.

Hey hot headed marine, love ya for what you guys do dude. Sorry, If I ticked ya off. I was just trying to help. Just consider for a moment though, if you had killed someone in that accident. The minute they found out that your tires were lacking, they might be shoving it up your rear end. I am not pointing fingers here, just want you nice and healthy and out of prison. It would suck to be looking at vehicular manslaughter charges for 200 bucks worth of tires.
Glad to hear that your insurance is helping you out and that you weren't hurt.

Post 67 Tempest

anyone who drives a car like yours vettes included will eventually have an experience like yours or a close call. 1st the cars are prone to it (in the rain they hydro-plane) and second the stock tires wear fast because of the compound. Mercedes-Benz requires owners to replace their tires evry 30,000 miles or the warranty is void. This is because of situations like yours (they got sued).

Cops in virginia are *** holes. Your not gonna win anything in court you may as well say your guilty. As far as our cars being dangerous in the wet. If you've ever been on 64 in the rain you'd know our cars are not the most likely ones to go out of control. More then likely it'll be the huge white panel van thats late for work going 95 weaving threw traffic. People on 64 are nuts. Sorry to hear you got the ticket.
