Default Help, ASAP

I am about to swap my roommate's V6 firebird (98) taillense with my 01 WS.6's because one is darker than the other (he doesnt care, his car is pretty beat up, but his lense is light, like my other one). THey should match up correct, right?

I was wondering if they were cosmetically different, oh well, the swap is done. I need to polish his out a bit more, it has a couple MINOR!! scratches near the top, but im not worried about it, it matches

Looks like one of the lenses was sprayed with spray on tint.

I don't even want to know why you put dielectric grease on your t-tops. If it was to make them seal better... should have used aerosol silicone spray on a rag and wiped them down.

GM recommended it and It has turned it from dripping in rain to barely a drop when I spray the **** out of it with the water sprayer at a car wash. I am much pleased.

what they probably did was popped the lense off and sprayed the inside of it, then glued it back together

looks good, although off topic, i heard that your supposed to use "GM Liquid emulsion" its a small bottle (little bigger than a white out bottle and has a ball on the bottom, looks like a pvc cement swab) on rubber trim and door seals. Anyways, ive heard a few ppl say use dieelectric, but i used that emulsion stuff and they came out like new....just wanna know whats the "proper" stuff to use! AND ps nice job man, my TA is still technically stock, ive only changed the oil myself!! need another F-Bod to mod the **** outta!!!

The owners manual in my glove box says Dielectric grease every 6 months, more often in inclimate weather.

All I know is my passenger side hardly EVER leaks (and i include powerwashing the seal area at car washes in that statement) and my driver side usually lets in 1-2 drops from a powerwashing session.

Both used to leak pretty good on just a mild rain.
