I would usually say go the performance route, but your wheel/tire combo looks so plain and doesn't compliment the rest of the car as it should. It really takes away from the rest of the car. So I say go for wheels and tires. BUT if you want to keep that kind of "stock"/"sleeper" appearance but then have some nasty power, do the performance route. Either way good luck.

Newer, wider tires will increase your performance anyway. I'd go with the wheels/tires this time around.

Now, all that being said, in your case I might go with the wheels since you already have some performance mods and some wheels is really all your car needs as far as looks go...
I agree with u to a point.......but with better rims & tires he might have a mid 12 car.......thats definately respectable for a street car IMO

Oh I agree with you. That's why at the end of my post I said "in your case, I would probably go with some wheels and tires."

Definitely possible to swing a cam and get some used WS6 wheels for a good price. In a few months/years pick up some TT2s if you're still set on those. Me personally, I want the "go" instead of the "show". Money determines if you have one or both.

I've dropped over $18,000 on my car and only $1200 on appearance. Looks wont get you down the road. I say Heads and cam for $1500 and do the work yourself. You can find great deals on used parts here. I just sold my cam for $250 shipped and my heads for $640 shipped. Nothing wrong with either of them just upgraded thats all. Thats $890 for a package that would tear up most cars on the street.

For $1500 you could go with new prc heads and a used cam and still have money for the gaskets and pushrods.

I'd do the rims and tires first so that you can hook with the power you have now.

Sweet ride. Just remember mods are addictive, they do have a beginning but no end in sight.

This is an old thread, but wheels gotta go. Do them, then buy a cam and maybe you could attempt the install yourself with a friend then buy a good tune.
